b'SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAMSEvans Scholars FoundationCherry Hills Country Club has a rich tradition with the Western Golf Association and the Evans Scholars Foundation. Cherry Hills has supported Evans Scholars dating back to the 1960s and has also hosted the WGAs signature event, the BMW Championship, the oldest event on the PGA TOUR, featuring the best field in golf competing as part of the FedEx Cup Playoffs. For promising young men and women across the country, college is further from reach than ever before. The Evans Scholars Foundation awards full tuition and housing scholarships to high-achieving caddies with limited financial means. A record 1,130 Evans Scholars were enrolled in 24 leading universities nationwide for the 202324 academic year, including 58 at the University of Colorado. Colorado just recently celebrated its 50 thanniversary with an Evans Scholarship House, and 548 of the programs over 12,040 Alumni have graduated from Colorado. Cherry Hills members have been leaders in raising critical funds for the Evans Scholars Program in Colorado as well as nationwide. In 2023, Cherry Hills ranked No. 11 in the country in terms of fundraising through the Evans Scholars Par Club, with $214,706 raised in support of the Evans Scholars Foundation. Since 1967, 59 caddies from Cherry Hills have graduated as Evans Scholars. Cherry Hills currently has 12 Evans Scholars in school for the fall of 2025.'
